Andrea’s passion for horses began at an early age. Growing up around them, she knew from the start that her future would involve working with horses in some capacity. Her journey led her through roles as a working student, experiences in hunter/jumper barns, and years competing in gymkhana and barrel racing.

While these opportunities provided valuable experience, they also shaped her perspective on horsemanship. Andrea saw firsthand that many horses struggled within rigid training systems that prioritized results over the individual animal. She believed there was a better way.

That belief became the foundation of Forged & Feather Equine.

Built on the idea that true partnership comes from balancing strength with softness, Andrea’s approach recognizes that every horse is different. Rather than forcing horses into a predetermined program, she develops training plans tailored to each horse’s personality, needs, and goals.

Her focus is simple: create willing, confident horses through clear communication, thoughtful training, and a relationship built on trust.
